Crown Jewels of Ladakh from Srinagar
Classic Leh-Ladakh with Srinagar is an eight day adventure through one of the world's most dramatic mountain regions. Beginning in the Himalayan valleys of Kashmir and crossing the formidable Zojila Pass at 11,500 feet, the journey descends into the high deserts of Ladakh, where Buddhist monasteries cling to cliffsides and prayer flags flutter in thin air.
From the ancient monasteries of Lamayuru and the rock-carved Maitreya Buddha at Mulbekh, you climb to Leh and then push north into the raw landscape of Nubra Valley with its cold deserts and camel safaris. The route culminates at Pangong Lake, one of the world's highest saltwater lakes, where the water shifts from turquoise to deep blue as it stretches toward the Tibet border.
With private transfers, careful acclimatisation in Leh, daily meals and carefully chosen hotels, this adventure balances the excitement of high mountain passes and remote valleys with comfort and safety. This is Ladakh at its most authentic and breathtaking.
