Six Days Among the Peaks and Passes of Ladakh
Discover Ladakh is a six day expedition into one of India's most dramatic and remote mountain regions, where ancient Buddhism thrives among some of the world's highest peaks. The journey takes you from the bustling streets of Leh through the monasteries of Sham, over the legendary Khardungla Pass to the hidden Nubra Valley, and finally to the otherworldly beauty of Pangong Lake.
Along the way you will cross mountain passes that rank among the highest in the world, ride double humped Bactrian camels on desert sand dunes, visit fortress monasteries where monks have meditated for centuries, and stand beside a lake that changes colour through the day from pale turquoise to deep indigo. The thin air and stark beauty demand respect, and the spiritual atmosphere in every monastery speaks to something ancient and profound.
The package includes all permits required by the Indian government, private transfers, daily breakfast and dinner, and handpicked hotels and camps at each stop, so you can focus entirely on the extraordinary landscape and the people who call these high places home.

Best Time to Visit Ladakh
The summer window from June to September is the only time all mountain passes are open and accessible. June is ideal for first time visitors with easy access and clear skies, while September offers fewer crowds and exceptional views. The passes close from November through May due to heavy snow, making winter inaccessible by road. July and August see peak tourism, so book early for better hotel availability.
