Best Time to Visit the North East
The North East is best explored during the clear months from March to May and September to November, when skies are bright and views of the Kanchenjunga and Everest are most spectacular. Spring brings blooming rhododendrons, while autumn offers crisp, comfortable weather. Winter from December to February is cold and clear, ideal for mountain photography. The monsoon from June to August brings verdant green landscapes but frequent rain and cloud cover.
