Tour Overview

The Forgotten Glory of Vijayanagara

Hampi is an open air museum of stone where the grandeur of the once mighty Vijayanagara Empire lies in carefully preserved ruins across the banks of the Tungabhadra river. This four day tour walks you through the remains of palaces, temples and markets that flourished five centuries ago, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of Karnataka.

Each monument tells a story, from the intricate musical pillars of the Vittala Temple to the delicate carved arches of the Lotus Mahal, from the massive Lakshmi Narasimha statue to the serene Queen's Bath. You will climb Matanga Hill at dawn to see the temples emerge from the mist, explore royal enclosures where kingdoms were governed, and wander through the quiet bazaars where merchants once traded spices and silk.

The package includes comfortable accommodation in Hampi, private transfers from Hubballi, guided sightseeing of all major monuments, daily breakfast and a pace designed to absorb both the history and the landscape. This is an ideal journey for history lovers, photographers, families and anyone seeking to connect with India's heritage.
