A Journey Across Western Gujarat
Highlights of Gujarat is an eleven day adventure through one of India's most spiritually significant and geographically diverse regions. The journey traces a path from the textile and craft heritage of Kutch, through the sacred pilgrimage towns of Dwarka and Somnath, to the pristine beaches of Diu and the wildlife sanctuary of Sasan Gir, with Ahmedabad's modern riverfront bookending the experience.
This tour pairs spiritual immersion with natural wonder. Visit the Dwarka Dwarkadhish Temple where devotees believe Lord Krishna established his ancient kingdom, and the Somnath Jyotirlinga, first of the twelve sacred Shiva shrines. Cross the moonlit salt flats of the Rann of Kutch, relax on Diu's golden beaches with their blend of Indian and Portuguese heritage, and seek out the endangered Asiatic lions in their last refuge at Gir Forest.
With carefully selected hotels, daily breakfast, private transfers throughout, and a pace designed to absorb each region's essence, this package invites you to experience pilgrimage, history, culture and wilderness in harmony.

Best Time to Visit Gujarat
October to March offers the most pleasant weather for exploring Gujarat. Temperatures range from cool to warm, rainfall is minimal, and the Gir Forest is ideal for wildlife viewing. The Rann of Kutch is particularly magical during Rann Mahotsav from mid-November to February, when cultural festivals and events bring the white salt flats to life. Avoid May and June, when heat is intense, and the monsoon from July to September brings heavy rain.
