The Untamed Beauty of Kutch
Perched at the edge of Gujarat, Kutch is one of India's most dramatic and least crowded destinations. This five day tour ventures into the otherworldly white salt plains of the Rann of Kutch, visits the living craft villages of Ajrakhpur and Bhujodi where textile traditions stretch back centuries, and discovers the coastal heritage town of Mandvi with its wooden mansions and maritime history.
The landscape is unlike anywhere else in India. The vast, flat expanse of the Rann turns brilliant white under the sun and transforms into a shimmering mirror during the rains. Here you will encounter the semi-nomadic communities of Kutch, explore intricate indigo and natural dye processes in artisan workshops, visit the palaces and temples of Bhuj, and watch the sunset from Mandvi's harbour.
The package includes comfortable hotels, private transfers throughout, daily breakfast, and a well-paced itinerary designed to showcase both the wilderness and the cultural soul of this remarkable region. This is a journey for travellers seeking something authentic and off the beaten path.
