The Magic of the Eastern Himalayas

North East Delight with Pelling is an eight day journey into the heart of Sikkim and Darjeeling, where snow-capped mountains rise above misty valleys and ancient monasteries cling to cliffsides. From the capital city of Gangtok nestled at 5,400 feet, the tour descends through rhododendron forests to the pilgrimage town of Pelling, then climbs again to the tea estates and toy trains of legendary Darjeeling.

This route showcases the spiritual and natural treasures of the region: the sacred Khecheodpalri Lake where the sky reflects in turquoise waters, the 300 year old Pemayangtse Monastery with its hand carved wooden sculptures, the thundering Rimbi Falls, and the iconic Tiger Hill where dawn breaks over the Kanchenjunga massif. Each stop reveals a different face of the Eastern Himalayas, from alpine beauty to Buddhist culture to colonial charm.
