Best Time to Visit Northeast India

In Shillong, temperatures range from 5 to 25 degrees Celsius, making hill station trekking and sightseeing comfortable. Kaziranga National Park's safaris are most rewarding from November to March, when grasslands are dry and wildlife gathers near water sources, and the park itself closes during the monsoon from June to September.
