The Complete Bhutan Experience

The Classic Bhutan Tour is an eight day immersion into one of Asia's last untouched kingdoms. Starting from the border town of Phuentsholing, the journey traverses four valleys spanning the full width of western Bhutan: the bustling Phuentsholing, the spiritual capital Thimphu, the verdant Punakha valley, and the legendary Paro, home to the Tiger's Nest.

Along the way you will discover fortress monasteries clinging to impossible cliffs, walk among 108 prayer flag draped chortens at the sublime Dochula Pass, explore the massive Punakha Dzong at the meeting of two rivers, and undertake the unmissable hike to Taktsang, the Tiger's Nest Monastery. The entire journey balances sightseeing with the slow, meditative pace that Bhutan inspires.

The package handles all the essentials: Bhutan permit processing, an English speaking licensed Bhutanese guide, private transfers, carefully chosen hotels, daily breakfast and dinner, and complimentary Bhutan SIM cards. You simply arrive and begin the adventure.

Best Time to Visit Bhutan

Autumn from September to November and spring from March to May are the premier seasons to visit Bhutan, with clear skies, excellent visibility for mountain views, and pleasant temperatures across all valleys. Winter from December to February is cold but offers solitude and exceptional clarity for the Tiger's Nest hike. Summer brings lush green landscapes but less predictable weather.
