Seven Days in the Last Himalayan Kingdom
Introduction to Bhutan is a seven day immersion into the Land of the Thunder Dragon, threading through the sacred valleys of Paro, Thimphu, Gangtey and Punakha. This journey balances the grandeur of fortified dzongs and ancient monasteries with the stunning Himalayan scenery that rises above mist covered forests and prayer flag draped passes.
You will ascend to the Dochula Pass at 3,100 metres where 108 memorial chortens gaze toward snow capped peaks, explore the majestic Punakha Dzong where two rivers meet, traverse the green Gangtey Valley home to rare black necked cranes, and hike to the iconic Taktsang or Tiger's Nest Monastery perched impossibly on a cliff face above the Paro valley.
Every stop on this seven day tour reveals the deep spiritual life and Himalayan magic of Bhutan. With a licensed Bhutanese guide, permits arranged, private transfers provided and daily breakfast and dinner included, your only task is to open your senses to one of the world's most pristine and peaceful kingdoms.

Best Time to Visit Bhutan
The prime months are autumn from September to November and spring from March to May, when the weather is clear and dry with panoramic Himalayan views. October is considered the best month, with dry skies, cool mountain air and excellent trekking conditions. Winter from December to February is cold and quiet with clear visibility, ideal for the Tiger's Nest hike. Summer monsoons from June to August bring lush green valleys but rainfall and cloud cover.
