Tour Overview

A Glimpse of the Last Himalayan Kingdom

Tucked into the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan is a kingdom that measures success in Gross National Happiness rather than numbers. This six day tour offers a gentle yet complete first encounter with its three most beautiful western valleys: Thimphu, Punakha and Paro.

From the giant Buddha Dordenma watching over the capital to the fortress monastery of Punakha at the meeting of two rivers, every stop reveals a country where ancient Buddhist tradition shapes daily life. The journey rises over the prayer flag draped Dochula Pass and culminates in the iconic hike to Taktsang, the Tiger's Nest, clinging to a sheer cliff high above the Paro valley.

The package includes Bhutan permit processing, an English speaking licensed Bhutanese guide, private transfers, daily breakfast and dinner, and carefully chosen hotels, so you can simply absorb the calm and beauty of the Thunder Dragon Kingdom.
