A Perfect Bhutan Stopover
StopOver Bhutan is a compact five day journey into the Land of the Thunder Dragon, designed for travelers who want an authentic taste of Bhutan without overwhelming their schedules. Fly into Paro, the kingdom's only international airport with its breathtaking approach between mountain peaks, and spend four nights experiencing the heart of western Bhutan.
The itinerary moves from the sacred temples of Thimphu, where the giant Buddha Dordenma watches over the city, to the dramatic Tiger's Nest Monastery perched impossibly on a cliff face above Paro. In between, you will cross the prayer flag draped Dochula Pass and explore the fortress monastery of Punakha built at the meeting of two rivers.
With Bhutan permit processing, an English speaking licensed Bhutanese guide, private transfers, daily breakfast and dinner all included, you are free to slow down and simply breathe in the calm of the Kingdom of Happiness.
