Barcelona's Modernist Architecture and Madrid's Royal Heritage

This six day tour covers Spain's two largest cities, from Antoni Gaudi's still-unfinished masterpiece in Barcelona to the royal palaces and world-class art museums of Madrid, connected by Spain's high speed AVE train.

In Barcelona, walk beneath the towering spires of the Sagrada Familia and through the mosaic-tiled terraces of Park Guell, both designed by Gaudi. Best Time to Visit Spain

April to June brings mild temperatures and fewer crowds to both Barcelona and Madrid, ideal for walking tours of the Sagrada Familia and Royal Palace before the peak summer season. September and October are equally pleasant with warm afternoons and cooler evenings, while July and August bring intense heat, especially in Madrid, and winter from November to March is cooler but generally dry with light crowds at major museums.
