Best Time to Visit Sydney & Melbourne
Australia's seasons run opposite to India's, and March to May brings Sydney and Melbourne's autumn, with mild temperatures and fewer crowds ideal for the Great Ocean Road drive and harbour cruises. September to November, the Southern spring, is equally pleasant, while December to February is summer and the busiest, most expensive season, and June to August is cooler and best suited to indoor city exploring.
