You can stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the Schengen area. This is a sticker visa issued in your passport after biometric processing at VFS Global.

- RequiredIncome Tax ReturnsLast 2 to 3 years of Income Tax Returns (ITR) or Form 16 as proof of financial stability and consistent income source.
- RequiredEmployment or Business ProofLeave letter from your employer on company letterhead, recent salary slips (last 3 months), or business registration and financial proof if self-employed.
- RequiredTravel Itinerary and Flight BookingTentative or confirmed flight bookings showing your entry and exit dates for Portugal. Day-wise itinerary of planned activities and cities to visit. Do not buy non-refundable tickets until visa is granted.
- RequiredAccommodation ProofHotel reservations, Airbnb confirmations, or invitation letter with address proof if staying with family or friends. Booking confirmations are sufficient, no need for paid reservations.
- RequiredTravel InsuranceSchengen-compliant travel insurance with minimum coverage of 30,000 EUR for medical treatment, hospitalization and emergency repatriation for your entire stay in Portugal and Schengen area.
- If applicableFor MinorsBirth certificate, school enrollment proof, and notarized parental consent letter from both parents. Children under 12 may be exempt from biometrics collection at VFS.

The Portugal Short-Stay Schengen business visa is for business activities such as attending conferences, meetings, trade fairs, negotiations, client visits and business exploration. You cannot work for or receive salary from a Portuguese company. The visa is issued as a sticker and allows single or multiple entries based on your business needs.
